MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Cost Reduction Engineer for our market-leading manufacturing client in Ballymena who are currently bringing ground-breaking and innovative technological advances to their industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Engineer to be involved in the strategic purchasing department where you will use your technical expertise to support and lead cost analysis and drive reduction across the business.

You will work closely with internal teams within the business along with external stakeholders to identify and implement a range of cost reductions.

The successful candidate will have:

• A HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent along with proven experience of cost reduction gained through your knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• You will have experience of design concept through to manufacturing along with experience of New Product Development.
• Strong understanding of CAD, BOM structures, DFM and Engineering Report writing.
