MCS Group are recruiting a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager/Manager for an Accountancy Practice based in Belfast

Our Client is a well established, mid-tier accountancy practice that is experiencing continued growth and is looking for a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager/Manager to join their team in a brand new role.

The Role

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of clients
• Managing a team of tax specialists
• Working predominantly with UK and NI clients, with the potential to get ROI experience
• The potential to have a blended role with either compliance and advisory and/or personal and corporate tax

The Person

The successful manager will meet the following criteria:

• Previous experience in an accountancy practice
• A qualification (e.g. ATI, ATT, CTA, ACA) is desired but not essential
• The ability to work independently and with a team
• Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax
• Experience in a corporate tax focused role is desired but not essential
