Company Lawyer

MCS are delighted to be partnering with a well known Public Sector organisation based in Belfast City Centre in their search for a Company Lawyer to join them on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role is offering an excellent opportunity to gain specialist legal experience in a specialised sector.

The Role
You will work closely with the General Counsel, Senior Legal Counsel, and Senior Company Lawyers to deliver high-quality legal services across all areas of the business. Your focus will primarily be on commercial and corporate matters, property transactions, and corporate governance.

The Person

• Must be a qualified barrister or solicitor with a valid practicing certificate or eligibility to obtain one in Northern Ireland.
• Proven experience in either a multi-faceted organisation or a fast-paced legal environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following areas:
• Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Advising on legal issues related to business organisations.
• Handling commercial property, developments, or estates matters (excluding solely domestic conveyancing).
• Managing corporate governance and compliance matters.
