Communications Engineer - VoIP Specialist

MCS Group is seeking a Communications Engineer based in the North West to join a market-leading MSP specialising in telecommunications and VOIP communication systems. In this role you will scope, implement, and ultimately deploy and integrate new communications networks and VoIP solutions for an impressive array of clients all across NI.

The role

• Plan, and coordinated bespoke requirements for a wide variety of clients
• Scope, and deploy VoIP solutions and support their ongoing usage
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Update clients across ongoing project work
• Provide first-in-class training to your clients, ensuring they are getting the maximum usage of the systems you have deployed and supported

Needed to succeed

• 3 years of experience within an IT role, ideally out in the field
• Have a strong understanding of VoIP, LAN/WAN and virtualised technologies - Vmware
• Have in-depth VOiP integration or installation experience, ideally, at scale
• Having any current Telephony certifications would be a huge advantage
