Commercial Insurance Team Leader

MCS is delighted to be recruiting for a highly successful Northern Ireland Commercial Insurance Firm, who are expanding their Commercial team by adding a Commercial Insurance Team Leader skilled in new business and business development. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business at a time of exciting growth. Existing understanding of various insurance products is essential.

This is a brand new, full-time permanent opportunity which can be worked from anywhere in Northern Ireland - the business has locations in each county and can be very flexible in offered working structure.

Your Package

• Package of £30,000-£40,000

What your day would look like

• Managing a team of commercial brokers based across NI, from one-to-ones, mentoring, identifying training needs and more
• Dealing with operational issues within the commercial insurance team as they arise
• Ensuring FCA regulations adherence within the commercial team in all areas of the business
• Identifying areas for business growth and managing key commercial accounts
• Provision of expert advice to new and existing customers regarding insurance needs
• Assisting commercial team sales targets where applicable by helping with the retention of existing clients

Your skills

• 4+ years' experience within a commercial role within insurance
• Team management or supervisory experience within insurance is desirable
• Strong analytical skills
• Accomplished in building and maintaining business relationships - clients, colleagues
• Knowledge of Open GI insurance software or similar is desirable but not essential
