Commercial Insurance - Team Lead

MCS is delighted to be recruiting for a highly renowned Global Insurance Broker, who are expanding their Commercial team in Belfast by adding a Commercial Insurance - Team Lead skilled in renewals and people / team management. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business at a time of exciting growth. Existing understanding of various insurance products is essential.

This is a brand new, full-time permanent opportunity based in the firm's modern City-Centre office location in Belfast. The business has a working week of Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, with one day WFH (flexible) each week.

What your day would look like

• This team have a bank of existing clients, this is very much a managerial role based around team training, support, management of targets and effective compliance management
• Allocation of new and existing clients and day-to-day support on workload management
• Advice and guidance to all commercial team members, SME for any technical or client queries from the team
• Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients ensuring they receive the best service for all insurance needs
• Managing portfolio of existing and new clients, supporting their ongoing insurance needs and effectively managing the renewal process

Your skills

• Experience of people or team management within the insurance industry - including training, development, coaching & mentoring
• Demonstrable skills in Client Account Management
• Leadership and excellent interpersonal skills - ability to communicate and work effectively with colleagues at all levels
• Highly organised and adaptive to various company systems and tools
