Commercial Broker

MCS is delighted to be recruiting for a highly successful Northern Ireland Commercial Insurance Firm, who are expanding their Commercial team by adding a Commercial Broker skilled in new business and business development. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business at a time of exciting growth. Existing understanding of various insurance products is essential.

This is a brand new, full-time permanent opportunity which can be worked from anywhere in Northern Ireland - the business has locations in each county and can be very flexible in offered working structure.

Your Package

• Package of £30,000-£35,000 + monthly bonus

What your day would look like

• Supporting the commercial account executives in managing commercial client accounts
• Preparing presentations for new and existing clients
• Working to identify additional covers clients may benefit from and identifying new commercial prospects
• Assisting with renewals and ensuring client cases are completed promptly
• Ad-hoc sales and support responsibilities

Your skills

• 2+ years' experience within a commercial role within insurance
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong analytical skills
• CII qualification or similar is advantageous, but not essential
• Accomplished in building and maintaining business relationships - clients, colleagues
• Knowledge of Open GI insurance software or similar is desirable but not essential
