MCS Group is proud to be partnering with a major consultancy firm to recruit a Civil Engineer, for their base in Belfast.

This role will be based in Northern Ireland, and will be predominately design based.

• Project Planning and Design: Lead and contribute to the planning and design of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.
• Site Analysis and Evaluation: Conduct thorough site analyses, evaluate environmental impact, and propose effective engineering solutions.
• Project Management: Manage projects from conception to completion, overseeing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including architects, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines, to integrate various project components seamlessly.
• Technical Expertise: Apply your technical expertise in areas such as structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and materials testing to ensure the quality and integrity of designs.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with local, state, and federal regulations to ensure all projects comply with relevant codes and standards.
• Client Interaction: Foster positive client relationships through effective communication, understanding client needs, and delivering engineering solutions that exceed expectations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proficient in industry-standard design and analysis software.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
