MCS Group is looking for a Contract Business Analyst for a 6 month contract in Belfast (Hybrid working). This Business Analyst will be part of the project team and play an integral part on our client's public-sector project which is about to kick off. This is a superb opportunity for an available Business Analyst to work on a high profile project which will be implemented by an influential public sector body.

* The Details *

This is very much a pure BA role. You will be heavily involved in activities such as requirements gathering, user profiling, and process mapping.

Given the nature of the project, there will be a large client facing component.

This role will have an element of hybrid working, although the successful candidate should be prepared to spend time on-site both with out client, and the public sector customer.

You will be involved in the early stages of a new system build, and will be responsible for: checking functionality from project specification to supplier response, setting up/carrying out workshops, process reviews etc

* The Person *

You will have 4+ years demonstrable experience of core Business Analysis activities (e.g. Requirements gathering, workshops etc).

You will have solid client facing experience, and be a clear communicator.

As the project is about to kick off, this contract is best suited to someone who is currently available, or who will be available in the coming 1-2 weeks.

Prior experience of requirements gathering etc for IT, systems or software projects is required.

Rate: £300 - £330 per day (Outside IR35)
Duration: 6 months
Location: Offices are in Belfast - some hybrid working is possible but the successful BA must be prepared to spend significant time on-site, according to the needs of the project.
