MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a growing, local organisation who week to recruit a bookkeeper on a full time, permanent basis!

The Role:

An internal bookkeeper vacancy to oversee and run financial reporting for the practice. This is a very important role for the practice that involves you directly reporting to the partners and pitching ideas.

Specific Duties Include:

• Monthly management accounts, at least to trial balance level
• Calculating and posting prepayments & accruals
• Bank reconciliation including imports into sage
• Supplier payments/ managing suppliers & invoicing
• Staff expense payments
• Client invoicing queries
• Collating internal management information for a monthly finance meeting
• Departmental analysis reporting
• Client bank account reconciliation & annual review
• Credit card reconciliation
• Petty cash reconciliation
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Annual budgeting

What You Need to Suceed:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role or qualified accounts technician qualification
• Software proficiency in Excel, sage or a similar software
• Collating and providing management information
• Attention to detail
