MCS is delighted to be recruiting for a Technical Support Engineer for our client within the financial services industry.

Our client is a global financial services organisation with offices across the U.K. including Belfast who are going through a period of significant growth in 2024. Due to continued growth and success they have an opportunity for an experienced technical support engineer to join their team in Belfast on a hybrid working basis.

You will get the opportunity to development teams, trouble shooting complex issues and finding bugs while answering tickets. You will work closely with the operational and support teams and get career development as well as being involved in project work within a linux environment.

The person

Track record in a similar application support role with experience within linux environments
Experience of working in a helpdesk environment adhering to SLAS, troubleshooting and experience using relevant tools for scripting
Highly desirable to have experience in python, bash or PowerShell
