Accounts Technician / Part-Qualified Accountant - Newry

MCS Group are looking for an Accounts Technician/Part Qualified Accountant to join a leading accountancy practice in the Newry area.

The Company:

Our client is a well-established accountancy practice in the Newry area. They provide a range of services from Accounts, Taxation, Payroll etc. to an array of clients across NI & ROI. Due to continued growth, now is a great time to join the company as they look to add an Accounts Technician/Part Qualified Accountant to their team.

The Role:

As the successful Accounts Technician/Part Qualified Accountant you will be reporting to one of the Senior Accountants and will be responsible for the following duties:

• Preparation of statutory & management accounts;
• Preparing and processing payroll for clients;
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns;
• Preparing financial statements;
• Assisting with tax compliance;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Accounts Technician/Part Qualified Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• ACA/ACCA Part Qualified or;
• ATI/ATT Qualified;
• Strong accounts preparation experience;
• Previous experience in a Practice environment;
• Strong IT skills;
• Strong communication skills.
