The Company

Our client is a well established accountancy practice located in Derry and provides a range of services across accounts, tax, audit, VAT and CIS for a variety of NI and ROI clients, spanning across multiple sectors such as manufacturing, retail, farming, construction and hospitality. Now is a great time to join this growing company as they look to add an Accounts Technician to their team.

The Role

As the new accounts technician, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Working with a portfolio of clients
• Dealing with all client needs end to end
• Includes statutory and management accounts, personal and corporate tax, VAT and CIS returns
• You will work with a range of clients, from small owner managed businesses to large limited companies

The Person

The successful Accounts Technician will meet the following criteria:

• Previous experience in an accountancy practice
• Experience dealing with a range of clients
• Experience in different areas of practice (Accounts, Tax, Payroll, VAT, CIS etc.)
• IATI Qualified or Qualified by experience
• Will also consider ACA/ACCA Part-Qualified
• Experience using different accounting softwares such as Xero and Quickbooks
