Accounts Technician - Banbridge

The Company

MCS Group are delighted to be working with a well-established Accountancy Practice that provides a variety of financial services to a wide range of clients. They work with primarily small and medium-sized businesses from a range of industries such as retail, construction, hospitality and farmers. This is a lively and friendly team with a long standing reputation.

This role would be perfect for an ATI course finalist or someone who wants to continue their progression and development in a varied Accountancy Practice role.

The Role

Our client is looking to strengthen their team with a qualified Accounts Technician or Part-Qualified Accountant. The duties of the role will include:

• Assisting clients with accounts preparation, bookkeeping and year end accounts
• Setting up clients accounts and dealing with any queries/questions
• Getting exposure to all elements of tax - personal and corporate
• Additional ad hoc duties to help with your exposure, progression and professional development

The Person

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• At least 2 years' Practice experience with exposure to a variety of areas and clients
• ATI qualified or;
• ACCA/Part qualified
