Accounts Assistant - Co.Down

MCS Group are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a leading FMCG company based in the Co. Down area.

The Company:

Our client is a leading FMCG company based in the Co. Down area. They manufacture and sell a range of products to their extensive global customer base. Due to continued growth, now is a great time to join the company as they look to add an Accounts Assistant to their finance team.

The Role:

As the successful Accounts Assistant you will report directly to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for the following duties:

• Processing purchase & sales ledgers;
• Credit control;
• Cash flow management & bank reconciliations;
• Preparation of VAT & Intrastat returns;
• Assist with month-end reporting;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Accounts Assistant will meet the following criteria:

• Experienced in working within a finance role;
• Previous sales ledger or credit control experience;
• Strong IT skills;
• Strong communication skills.
