The Role

  • Work as part of an enthusiastic and motivated agile development team, comprising software engineers, QAs and Business Analysts, to ensure the technical requirements of the marketing team are met in the most efficient way.
  • Deliver high-quality software, which is future proof, scalable and in-keeping with ASOS standards. Take a test-first approach from business requirements through to code.
  • Use the latest tech, .NET Core and a large number of Azure Services.
  • Join our regular Tech Develops days to learn new things, take part in internal and external hackathons, share your knowledge and help to drive improvements in engineering.
  • Continually develop and improve our code and technology, whilst playing an active role in the conception of brand-new features for our millions of global customers.

The Person

  • The successful Senior Software Engineer (.Net) will have relevant commercial experience with the latest versions of .NET Framework, .NET Standard and .NET Core (C#).
  • Exposure to Azure, DevOps and SQL
  • Experience of working within agile (SCRUM and Kanban) project environments.
  • Strong understanding and practitioner of Software Development Lifecycle.
