MCS Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a leading global law firm as they continue to develop and strengthen their world-class Data Team. You will work closely with collaborative teams in business data, integration, security and product owners to deliver innovative software and applications. The Role

• Data analytics and modelling to promote data driven decision making
• Communicate data and development principles to a range of stakeholders
• Mentor and train junior team members
• Taking ownership of business needs and assist in the delivery of the Data Platform
• Providing bespoke legal application solutions for client base
• Delivering integrations of internal systems using APIs

The Person

• You will have experience in Data Engineering on large scale projects
• Experienced in languages such as Python, Scala, .Net or C#
• Skilled in building data pipelines using Azure, Data Lake or Synapse
• Excellent working knowledge of SQL and visualisation tools such as Power BI
• Excellent communication skills in dealing with stakeholders at all levels
• Business acumen and an analytic mindset
• Great project management and delivery skills

• £42000 - £66000 per annum
