MCS Group proud to be working with a Global Leader in Risk Management Software as they seek a Technical Consultant to join their growing team in Belfast. You will become a key member of the team in a business critical position, leading clients through a variety of projects aimed at driving business value through managing and responding to risk.

The role

You will lead customers through the journey of tailored software solution implementations, ensuring their impact to their organisation is maximised

You will be critical to the projects that you will work across, using your technical knowledge and ability to configure, develop, test and then deploy these solutions to your clients

Working across multiple projects advising on product capabilities, requirements and design

Communicate client requirements across the team and ensure the end product software is fit for purpose

The Person

3+ years technical work experience configuring functionality based on client specifications in a project implementation team

Proficient in Oracle Database and SQL scripting

Experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, Compliance, or Insurance Industry

Understands and applies analysis tools/techniques, issue resolution skills, and demonstrates strong knowledge of relevant industry factors

Client facing experience in requirement gathering and design

Ability to handle job assignment and estimations

What will give you an edge over others

• Knowledge of relational databases
• Experience of the Insurance / Claims sector

• Knowledge of platform and technical expertise
