MCS Group is delighted to continuing our long-standing partnership with one of Belfast's most reputable companies in our search for a Senior Software Engineer. You will play a vital role in building a greenfield product and brand-new team.

As the Senior Java Engineer you will be responsible for helping build out a new team, the design, development, and implementation of this new greenfield product. This product will unify their existing product suite onto a common cloud platform. It is integral to everything going on at the company.

The Role:

  • Building out a brand-new team
  • Working on greenfield developments
  • Helping provide a set of services which unifies the current suite of products
  • Designing, implementing, and testing complex software applications/services/systems.

Who you are:

  • Strong Java experience
  • A real passion for all things cloud
  • Experience of building and leading teams - remote management
  • Microservices experience
  • JavaScript would be a bonus
