MCS Group is incredibly excited to be exclusively partnering with a growing health and social care provider, that has expanded steadily over the past 12 months, with ambitious plans to continue their growth going forward.

Due to continued growth and no signs of this stopping my client is hiring an HR & Recruitment Officer on a temporary, full-time basis, for a minimum of 3 months.

The role

The HR & Recruitment Officer will be reporting to the Head of HR. The successful candidate will primarily be working in an independent manner but will provide professional, efficient, and confidential HR support.

Key duties include:

  • Taking a customer-led approach in all recruitment activities, ensuring that as a business we give an exceptional experience to all our candidates at each stage of the recruitment process.
  • Preparing candidates for interviews, giving, and receiving feedback, and administrating successful offers.
  • Act as liaison with the HR Team, supporting the onboarding process, validating ID & right to work checks, and highlighting any issues.
  • Working in collaboration with the Hiring Manager and wider HR team to ensure that we deliver a strong end-to-end service and provide recommendations and solutions for continuous improvement including capability, upskilling, and communication to all parties.
  • Managing key stakeholder relationships across the business.
  • Any other duties as required that are commensurate with the role.

The Person

  • Previous experience in managing high volume fast-paced recruitment (preferably within health & social care)
  • Experience in international recruitment & sponsorship (desirable)
  • Ability to work in an autonomous fashion.
  • Two years of HR generalist experience.
  • Proven track record of delivery in a busy environment.
  • CIPD qualified.
