MCS Group is thrilled to be representing an innovative, forward thinking technology client, currently going through a period of rapid growth, with the appointment of an Internal Tech Recruiter on a 6-month fixed term contract basis.

This opportunity would ideally suit an agency recruiter with a proven track record in technology sourcing, looking to make the move in-house. The employer is a household name in Northern Ireland and will look great on anyone's CV, ultimately opening doors in future to permanent in-house tech recruitment opportunities.

The successful candidate will focus on sourcing tech talent for the companies Belfast and London offices, reporting to the Head of EMEA Recruitment. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for engaging and sourcing the best local talent at all levels, promoting the brand and ultimately making it an employer of choice.

The role

As an Internal Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing and pipelining talent, specifically within technology, covering the full recruitment lifecycle, identifying exceptional passive talent through non-conventional methods. You will build strong internal relationships, assessing current and future recruitment plans, pipelining talent in key areas of growth. You will also build sustainable relationships with external suppliers, ensuring their performance is assessed on a regular basis and they are providing the best service.

In a highly competitive market, it is important talent is pipelined across multiple channels, strategically promoting the company to a large audience and creating a strong brand, all while delivering an exceptional and consistent customer experience at all times. Building relationships with local Universities is another key aspect to the role, promoting a strong brand to emerging talent, ultimately making the company an employer of choice.

Company culture is highly important, therefore it is essential the Internal Recruiter will adopt an enthusiastic, positive approach, all while maintaining an exceptional sourcing service. It is also important that the successful candidate contributes to management reports, providing regular insights around hiring trends.

The skillset

Ideally, the Internal Recruiter will have in-house recruitment experience, or extensive agency experience with a proven track record of sourcing within technology.

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of sourcing talent across the technology sector
  • Financial Services industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Creative and proactive sourcing background and ability to track and communicate recruiting data.
  • Strong working knowledge of an ATS (workday ideal)
  • Process orientated with a strong appreciation for the administration and compliance that lies behind resourcing activity.
  • Collaborative team player and strong communicator.
  • Hands-on experience recruiting in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer-service orientation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high pace environment.
