HR Manager - Belfast - Global Professional Services Organisation

MCS Group is thrilled to be representing a growing professional organisation based in Belfast, currently seeking a HR Manager in a new position, a role created through ongoing company growth.

The successful HR Manager will manage a number of administrators based across multiple sites throughout UK and Europe, responsible for putting in place an efficient and effective HR service to the organisation's stakeholders.

The role

The HR Manager will be responsible for ensuring effective delivery of all HR aspects for this function, including performance management, employee relations, recruitment, training and payroll, working in partnership with key internal stakeholders to ensure excellent service is provided to managers & employees at all times, in a consistent manner. While this is a new role, there are already policies and processes in place, as well as a staff handbook, however these will need to be refined going forward.

You will advice line manages of various employee relations issues, in a proactive manner, to educate line management and ultimately reduce the risk. Learning & Development will also form part of the role, outsourcing specific training when required.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for the full recruitment life-cycle, including creating a job description, shortlisting, interviewing and drafting offer paperwork. The role will also include promoting the company brand to potential new hires, ensuring the organisation is promoted and becomes an employer of choice.

To apply for the role

Suitable candidates will possess a relevant degree, ideally be CIPD qualified and have HR Advisor / HR Officer level experience within a Professional Services organisation, where they have worked with senior stakeholders:

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent), ideally possessing a CIPD qualification
  • 3 + years' experience at HR Advisor / Officer level, ideally within a professional services organisation
  • Experience with a rapidly growing start-up is highly desirable
  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills.
  • Strong experience around complex employee relations
  • Recruitment experience, at all levels
  • Sound understanding of recent employment legislation
  • Well presented
