HR Business Partner - Craigavon Area - Manufacturing

MCS Group is delighted to be working in partnership with a global manufacturing organisation based in the Craigavon area, who wish to recruit a HR Business Partner to cover a 12 month contract, with a high chance of the role going permanent.

The role

The successful HR Business Partner will be commercially minded, interacting on a regular basis with various key stakeholders, ensuring the HR service they provide genuinely adds value to the business. A lot of the advice and guidance will be done remotely, however there will be an expectation to build relationships on site

Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, the HR Business Partner will be responsible for the overall HR Generalist remit, providing advice and guidance across a range of HR responsibilities, including performance management, employee relations, absence management, recruitment and disciplinaries. Case management will be a big part of the role, guiding and advising stakeholders on various employee relations issues, keeping on top of employment legislation.

The successful candidate will also be involved in various projects as and when required, including those related to talent management and employee engagement. You will work closely with your stakeholders to identify top talent within the business, ensuring development programmes are implemented on a regular basis.

This is an exceptional role to work for a global organisation, initially on a maternity cover contract, however there may well be opportunities to become a permanent member of staff in the future.

The successful candidate

To apply for this outstanding HR Business Partner opportunity, it is essential you possess the following:

  • 5+ years experience working at HR Officer level or above
  • Degree educated and CIPD qualified
  • Extensive employee relations experience, combined with strong legislation knowledge
  • Proven track record of working in a business partner capacity to deliver commercial results
  • Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and sites would be highly advantageous
  • Industry experience in manufacturing would be highly advantageous
