HR Generalist - Lisburn Area - Global Manufacturing Organisation

MCS Group is thrilled to be representing a global manufacturing organisation based in the Lisburn area, currently seeking a HR Generalist, a role created through ongoing company growth.

The successful HR Officer will support a small workforce across a range of complex HR issues, including performance management, employee relations, recruitment, training and mobility, operating in a stand alone capacity. It is therefore important the successful candidate can handle day to day administration, as well as higher level HR matters.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong HR Generalist to get exposure to every element of HR, progressing their career in a short space of time.

The role

The HR Generalist will be responsible for ensuring effective delivery of all HR aspects for this function, working in partnership with HR colleagues to ensure excellent service is provided to managers & employees at all times, in a consistent manner. The successful candidate will also relook at the companies policies and procedures, bringing them up to date. You will also be responsible for embedding a strong company culture in an organisation that has gone through a period of transition.

You will advice line manages of various employee relations issues, in a proactive manner, to educate line management and ultimate reduce the risk. Performance management will also be a key aspect of this role, working in line with management to ensure line manager have regular reviews with their staff, setting key goals and providing consistent feedback.

The successful candidate will partner with the recruitment team, to advise compensation offers to line managers, analysing current and future workloads to understanding recruitment requirements.

To apply for the role

Suitable candidates will possess a relevant degree, ideally be CIPD qualified and have HR Business Partner experience working within a Professional Services organisation, where they have worked with senior stakeholder,

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent), ideally possessing a CIPD qualification
  • 2 + years' experience at HR Officer experience
  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills.
  • Strong experience around complex employee relations
