HR Generalist - Leading Manufacturing Organisation - County Down

MCS Group is thrilled to be exclusively partnering with a multinational manufacturing organisation based in County Down, who currently require a highly experienced HR Generalist, on a permanent basis. This is a pure generalist role, however there will be a key focus on recruitment and selection in the role.

The role

Reporting to an experienced HR Business Partner, the successful HR Generalist will be commercially minded, interacting on a regular basis with various key internal stakeholders, ensuring the HR service they provide genuinely adds value to the business.

You will be responsible for a specific business area, communicating with staff at all levels, including senior management. As HR Advisor, you will provide consistent advice and guidance across a range of HR responsibilities, including performance management, absence management, representing the company during audits, employee relations, recruitment and disciplinaries.

The HR Generalist will work closely with other departments, including the training and recruitment teams, focusing on talent management, ensuring employees at all levels have clear career pathways. It is important the successful candidate has experience of managing high volume recruitment campaigns, and importantly has a passion for it.

The successful candidate

To apply for this HR Generalist opportunity, it is essential you possess the following:

  • 3+ years' experience working at HR Officer / HR Advisor level within manufacturing
  • Recruitment & Selection experience
  • Degree educated
  • Employee relations experience, combined with strong NI legislation knowledge
  • Experience of audits

While not essential, the successful candidate will ideally have Chartered CIPD membership.
