HR Advisor - Leading Manufacturing Organisation - County Antrim

MCS Group is delighted to be representing a market leading manufacturing organisation based in County Antrim, currently seeking an HR Advisor on a permanent basis.

The role

Reporting to HR Business Partner, the successful HR Generalist will support line management to cover a wide range of HR issues within the business, including implementing policies and procedures, employee relations, engagement, well-being and recruitment. The successful candidate will partner with key internal stakeholders to ensure the companies people strategy and business strategy is well aligned.

Recruitment & selection will also form a part of the role, with the HR Generalist taking full responsibility to ensure the company attracts the best talent into the business, at all levels. This will involve a combination of direct sourcing, as well as liaising with recruitment partners when / if required. Due to the high volumes of roles coming through on the next number of months, it is essential the successful candidate has experience dealing with high volume recruitment processes.

This environment will also involve managing employee relations issues, therefore it is essential the successful candidate has to ability to cope with volume employee relations, ensuring line managers have the best support when dealing with complex issues. This will also involve running weekly absence reports, supporting the broader HR team with completion of weekly KPIs, flagging key trends.

Experience of designing and implementing successful engagement initiatives is also highly desirable for the successful candidate, contributing to a culture of innovation.

The successful candidate

The ideal candidate will be degree educated, with extensive HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • 2 years HR Generalist experience at HR Officer level or above
  • CIPD qualification and relevant third level qualification
  • Proven track record managing end to end recruitment processes
  • Passion for innovation and personal development
  • Employee relations experience
