Talent Acquisition Specialist - Technology - US Tech Client

MCS Group is incredibly excited to be partnering with an international technology organisation, with a strong prescence in the US market, with plans to expand their operation in Northern Ireland. To help with their ambitious expansion plans in NI over the next number of years, they require a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help source the best talent in the market for their Belfast site.

The is an outstanding opportunity for a highly experienced, autonomous recruiter to partner with a global team, with full responsibility to map out recruitment plans for the Belfast operations, including raising the brands local profile to attract the best talent in the market. The successful candidate will also as well as gaining more exposure to Talent Management, including career development, succession planning and workforce planning.

The role

Reporting to the Site Lead, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and pipelining talent, specifically within technology, covering the full recruitment lifecycle, identifying exceptional passive talent through non-conventional methods. You will build strong internal relationships, assessing current and future recruitment plans, pipelining talent in key areas of growth. You will also build sustainable relationships with external suppliers, ensuring their performance is assessed on a regular basis and they are providing the best service.

In a highly competitive market, it is important talent is pipe-lined across multiple channels, strategically promoting the company to a large audience and creating a strong brand, all while delivering an exceptional and consistent customer experience at all times. Building relationships with local Universities is another key aspect to the role, promoting a strong brand to emerging talent, ultimately making the company an employer of choice.

Company culture is highly important; therefore it is essential the Talent Acquisition Specialist will adopt an enthusiastic, positive approach, all while maintaining an exceptional sourcing service.

The skillset

The successful Talent Acquisition Specialist will have extensive in-house recruitment experience within a technology business, however, agency recruiters with a proven track record of sourcing within technology will also be considered.

  • 4 years recruitment experience in a corporate recruitment environment, with at least 2+ years experienced focused on technology recruitment
  • Degree educated
  • Proven track record of understanding the software development life cycle, infrastructure, development languages and platforms
  • Strong presence on social media, with a track record of sourcing and engaging top talent
  • Ability to creative bespoke attraction strategies to source passive talent
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the passion and energy to work in a high performance, highly demanding environment

Experience of working with an expanding technology brand in the Northern Irish market would be highly desirable, with strategic experience of creating a strong brand, in a highly competitive market.
