MCS Group are working with an established family accountancy practice in Belfast to recruit a Trainee Accountant or Trainee Accounting Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who has their sights set on working within the accountancy profession.

The Company
Our client is a mid-tier Practice, who have been in business for over 50 years, delivering high quality accountancy services to clients from a variety of sectors, both locally and throughout the UK. They are recognised as a Platinum ACCA Practice.

The Role
As a Trainee Accountant, you will gain the opportunity to train among a team of friendly professionals dedicated to eachother's success. The successful candidate will gain early exposure to accounts production for sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies. Beyond this, the Trainee Accountant will gain exposure to all of the necessary activities to hone their craft and develop into a well-rounded Chartered Accountant. Our client provide specialist tax and audit services, so there will be plenty of opportunities to add strings to your bow.

The Person

• Possesses a strong, demonstrable interest in becoming a Chartered Accountant within an accountancy practice
• Some experience with accountancy software packages (desirable)
• Completion or enrollment (previous or present) in relevant course(s)
