Matt Halligan (CTO) has chosen Belfast after working in the city for over 20 years where he built an incredible career with one of Belfast’s best known Telecoms software companies. After taking the role as CTO in Optiva, he always planned to go back to Northern Ireland because of the great talent he could find here.
The company have already begun recruiting with 6 people on board now – all established Managers and engineers ready to build this new R&D centre of excellence. Plans initially for the operation will be to build to a 40 person R&D team in 12 months before looking at other roles and functions in the future.

Optiva will be based in GLANDORE HOUSE and operate a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office.
Initial applications are done exclusively through MCS Group.

The interview process will be dependent on each role and will typically consist of 2 – 3 stages.
