MCS Group is delighted to be representing a marketing organisation based in Bangor seeking a full-time finance and administration assistant.

The Company:

This company is well established with over twenty years' experience in the market. As they expand their client database they are looking for a finance assistant to join their busy team. They work with a range of clients from the financial, retail, utility, and hotel sectors.

The Role:

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient running of the Finance & Administration department of the business.

Duties Include:

  • All sales, purchase and nominal ledger functions
  • Responsibility for all bookkeeping
  • Banking and month bank reconciliation
  • Processing all purchase invoices
  • Preparing and submitting grant claims
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Maintaining monthly WIP, trade accruals and job cost control
  • Monthly payroll
  • Facilitating remote working and face to face meetings of staff
  • Occasional PA duties to the Directors
  • Assisting in facilitating the company's social and cultural activities

What you need to succeed:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Self-starter
  • Experience in Microsoft excel

  • Xero payroll software
  • Sharepoint
