HR Assistant - Expanding Private Sector Client - Belfast City Centre
MCS is thrilled to be representing leading private sector client based in the heart of Belfast City Centre, currently seeking an HR Assistant on a temporary basis, for a period of up to 12 weeks. The successful candidate will also have an opportunity to apply for the permanent position.
Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful HR Assistant will support line management to cover a wide range of HR issues within the business, including implementing policies and procedures, employee relations and recruitment. The successful candidate will partner with key internal stakeholders to ensure the companies people strategy and business strategy is well aligned.
The successful candidate will also support on volume recruitment, including liaising with agencies, preparing job descriptions and job adverts, as well as tracking all applications through the organisation.
This environment will involve supporting the senior HR team with managing volume employee relations issues at times, therefore it is essential the successful candidate has to ability to cope with high volume employee relations, ensuring line managers have the best support when dealing with complex issues. The role will include assessment absence management with line management on a regular basis, partaking in various disciplinary meetings and performance reviews.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated, with 1 years HR Generalist experience. It is also essential the successful applicant has exposure to volume recruitment campaigns.
