Site Reliability Engineer

MCS Group is proud to be partnering up with one of the most innovative and influential organisations specialising in cutting edge software solutions across the Semi-Conductor, Global Engineering, Construction and high-tech industries.
With 20 offices set up across the world, our client is focusing on growing out their Dublin site for a highly critical project that needs a Site Reliability Engineer to assist in the delivery of a large scale project.
Working in tandem with a highly skilled development team, you will be focusing on Construction & Engineering Project Management Software Applications. Reporting directly to stakeholders, you will be solely responsible for managing the cloud infrastructure using Azure Cloud services and ensuring that Ci/Cd function are scalable and highly reliable.

Responsibilities for our clients next Site Reliability Engineer:

• Create and manage Azure environments across different stages of development.
• Be solely responsible for the continuous improvement of system reliability and the endurance to make it more efficient and easier to develop/deploy new software capabilities.
• Establish and maintain development pipelines for various software solutions in Azure.
• Continuously focus on ways to optimise and automate operational processes with the service catalogue.
• Continuously find ways to improve the specific systems performance, latency, availability and resilience.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform on a regular basis.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes throughout the CI/CD pipeline and SDLC.
• Collaborate with various teams within the business to enhance the services or system through progressive regression and stress tests.

The type of person needed for our clients next Site Reliability Engineer:

• Proven track record of working in a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering environment.
• Strong tech stack: Azure, Kubernetes or K8's, Terraform, Microservices Architecture, Ci/Cd, PowerShell.
• Someone who is delivery focused & has a proven track record of delivering projects.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Minimum 4 years experience using either Azure, AWS, GCP or OCI.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining containers for deployment.

Benefits for our clients next Site Reliability Engineer:

• Base salary - €100,000 - 120,000.
