Quality Specialist (Feed/Food)

MCS Group is exclusively partnering our highly reputable Client, a leading supplier to the Irish Feed Industry, with the key appointment of a Quality Specialist (Feed/Food) to join their established Team in Belfast.

As the Quality Specialist (Feed/Food), your core responsibility will be to support the Quality/ESG Manager in maintaining and promoting feed safety, quality and integrity standards across this fantastic business.

Your day to day:
As the successful Quality Specialist (Feed/Food), you will manage, monitor and evaluate the Quality System and procedures, providing technical expertise, agri-sector knowledge and support, to the Operational and Trading Teams.

• Reporting, Data Management & Administration

• ERP project participation

Your credentials:

• 3^rd Level qualification in Food/Agri Science OR proven experience typically more than 5 years)in feed safety at a mid-senior level
• Experience providing quality assurance in a food or feed processing environment.
• Relevant Professional Development, such as GAFTA, HACCP or ISO accreditation training would be a distinct advantage.
• IT proficiency; Excel; Power BI; ERP/MRP system
• Ability to travel - Ireland and ad hoc business trips.
• Full Valid Driving License & access to own car is essential.
