Practice Accountant - Dundalk

The Company:

Our client is a well established, long standing accountancy practice in Dundalk with a large and varied client base. They offer a wide range of exposure in a mixed role, ensuring every day is different and you can always expand your skills.

Now is a fantastic time to join their team as they look to add an Accountant to their team to assist with the continued growth of the practice.

The Role:

As the successful Accountant, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Looking after a varied portfolio of clients
• Size and type of clients can be moulded based on experience
• Accounts (Statutory and Management)
• VAT
• Tax (Personal and Corporate)
• PAYE
• Audit
• Reviewing the work of juniors and assisting with their training and development
• Managing and developing client relationships

The Person:

The successful Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• ACA/ACCA Qualified (or Qualified by experience)
• Previous experience in an Accountancy Practice
• Previous experience working with a portfolio of clients
• Experience in a varied role
• Access to a car and be able to drive
• Previous experience training juniors is desired but not essential
