Software Engineer (Backend)

MCS Group is searching for an ambitious Software Engineer for a brand new role within their long-standing client, an Irish-owned growing software company which specialises in delivering bespoke software solutions to organisations and studios within the gaming industry. We are looking for a mid-level backend developer with a strong foundation in C# coding.

The Rewards:

The Requirements:

• Degree level education in computer science or other related fields
• Proficiency in one or more coding languages that is commonly associated with backend software development such as C#, Python, JavaScript or C++
• Prior experience working in software development amounting to a minimum of 3 years
• A deep understanding of server-side technologies; inclusive of languages, frameworks and databases
• A willingness and ability to pick up new technologies and tools quickly
• Experience with a range of software tools

• The Software Engineer will development and maintain high-quality, scalable code for customers.
• Collaboration across multi-functional teams
• Mentoring and support for junior developers
• Adherence to industry best practices and internal standards
• Implementation of cloud-based infrastructure
