Management Accountant

The Role will consist of:

• Budget management
• Providing support to budget holders with monthly forecasting
• Identify and monitor budget risks and opportunities
• Undertaking all month end tasks
• Preparation of finance reports and translation of financial information to non-financial stakeholders

The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential:

• An accounting qualification
• Extensive financial experience (journals, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to be able to advise and support staff across all levels in terms of financial matters
• Willingness to be assessed against CTC clearance requirements

Desirable:

• Experience working in a government department or public sector entity
• Understanding of government finance
