Junior Software Developer

MCS Group is excited to be partnering with a family-owned Irish company teaming up with us to hire a qualified Junior C# Developer.

They have recently formed key growth strategies, utilising contemporary technology and trends to propel their firm to new heights. They have a strong business foundation that has been built over the last 20+ years.

A software developer has an amazing opportunity to join a business that is making significant investments in all its internal ICT services. Granting users access to modern Microsoft technologies running on both modern and more legacy platforms, working with various production management tools, internal sales programmes, and business support software.

The role:

• Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, and test software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues.
• Learn new programming languages and technologies as needed.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team processes.
• Get involvement in the whole SDLC, working with internal stakeholders, presenting developments and receiving rapid feedback for contributions.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of programming concepts and principles
• Familiarity with C# .NET development in a professional environment.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL
• Basic understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Qualification in computer science or related field preferred, but not required
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Salary: €35,000 - €45,000 dependent on experience with bonus, pension and healthcare benefits.
