To kick off their journey in Belfast, our client is looking for a dedicated, energetic, and analytical Team Manager to lead a team of talented junior Financial Data Associates, playing a pivotal role in the first phase of their Belfast expansion.

The Role:

• Supervise, mentor, and support a team of junior-level Associates specialising in Financial Data & Analytics, offering guidance, coaching, and performance management.
• Review financial reports from a variety of companies, understand key financial metrics from financial statements, and support the team in delivering accurate and timely reports.
• Ensure efficiency and precision in data processing, particularly focusing on financial and capital market information.
• Manage the workflow of high-priority and time-sensitive projects, ensuring solid project management practices and effective resource allocation.
• Create and maintain capitalization tables.
• Play an important role in training and developing junior team members as the team grows.

The Person:

• You should have a background in financial reporting and capital markets, with a strong understanding of company financial statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets, and income statements. This role is a great fit for someone from an Accountancy or Audit background looking to transition into FinTech.
• You should be a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and compassionate team leader with a history of managing junior teams.
• You should have a keen eye for detail, with strong analytical and numerical skills and a tech-savvy mindset.
• You should have the ability to work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.
• You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and senior stakeholders across the globe.
• A solid understanding of and experience with MS Excel is required.
