Business Analyst - Data

MCS is proud to be partnering with a large Public Sector Organisation they continue their digital transformation. This role will see you assist in the planning, design and implementation of business intelligence systems across the company and afford you the opportunity to develop further skills in data and AI.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract that is highly likely to become a permanent position.

• £37,000 - £40,000 per annum

The Role

• Design and deploy BI solutions and reports in Power BI
• Assist in data migration projects
• Hands-on data analysis and documentation
• Work with internal stakeholders to define and reporting suites
• Ensure data accuracy in reporting across the business
• Build and manage KPI reporting to drive success

About You

• 2 plus years experience working in a business data analyst position
• Data analytics experience
• Strongly proficient in SQL, Power BI and ideally Azure Data Factory
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in using data to drive insightful business decision making
• A real attention to detail and an enthusiasm for all things data
